With amm – architekten machen moebel, the Institute of Spatial Design at the Graz University of Technology develops solid wood prototypes from scratch to full-scale. Contemporary interpreted craftsmanship plus local materials lead to rational yet dynamic furniture for daily use. As a collaborative project, professionally guided by Matthias Gumhalter, Rainer Eberl and Claudia Gerhäusser, “amm” has already been exhibited at fairs like Salone Satellite, Art Design Feldkirch, selected in Graz and Vienna Design Week.
A wardrobe finds itself in almost any apartment. It needs to be multi-functional but small. Sa.bau offers you a lot: You can hang your jackets, have a seat and have a box for your umbrellas. Because of the flexibility of the jacket-sticks and the umbrella stand it could come in different shapes – each day, just as you like it.
