for Wittmann

Austrian furniture producer Wittmann employs 120 people. Exports account for an impressive 70 percent of production, and Wittmann furniture is on sale in more than 50 countries. Ever since 1896, when the family-owned business – now in its fourth generation – was founded as a saddlery, quality consciousness and craftsmanship have been central to the Wittmann culture. Furniture production started in the 1950s, in cooperation with various well-known architects. Today, Wittmann works with world-famous designers as well as the next generation of Austrian creatives.

Mono is both optically and physically a light piece of seating furniture – classic, but with a contemporary update. The armchair is the result of the latest cooperation between the Wittmann Furniture Workshops and the designer Marco Dessí, whose design language and signature are clearly recognisable. However, Mono is an independent new creation and is characterised by the fact that it can be easily transformed and adapted. Mono – as the name implies – comes as a single armchair or can be wonderfully combined with a wide variety of sofas. It can be integrated into public areas (hotels, lobbies, offices, etc.) as well as into a private living room as part of a complete concept. As with every piece of Wittmann furniture, Mono offers the highest level of seating comfort and exciting details in the lines which are perfectly crafted.
